Its durable sealed housing features a unique, five rib, industrial-grade look for aFe quality recognition. The Pro DRY S performance air filter features three layers of progressively finer porosity synthetic media that does not require oil, providing maximum convenience. Quantum air filters are specifically designed for Quantum Series intake systems with an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. The filter base also features a 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even air flow. Quantum uses a dyno tuned, CAD-designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow. Itâ„¢s made from high impact, XLPE material for heat soak resistance and durability. The Quantum Intake System includes silicone bellows couplings to absorb excessive engine movement and provide flexibility for a secure and easy install. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation. This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. The filter securely fastens to the housing with four captive screws, eliminating lost hardware, while a silicone bellows coupling absorbs excessive engine movement and provides flexibility for an easy install.
