This new Allison upgraded torque converter is an excellent upgrade for customers with powertrain platforms. This new Allison torque converter comes standard with a fully machined, forged apply piston to alleviate deflection under higher apply pressure. This helps ensure that the upgraded torque converter performs consistently for the life of the vehicle.

This Allison torque converter also has upgraded friction material with greater thermal capacity for improved performance when towing under heavy loads.

This torque converter is ideal for a customer with a stock vehicle. This torque converter has a stock stator and will retain stock stall speed.

If you are looking to increase the performance of the factory unit and looking for a cost-effective solution, this is the converter for you. This converter, while great for heavy duty towing and hauling, is not intended for racing.
