The hot side tube that is inside the HSP Intercooler Bundle Kit is a part that is often overlooked. The hotside pipe that comes from the factory on the LLY trucks is often known to fail. The factory routing that it takes rubs on the power steering line, this causes the line to create a hole in the tube resulting in a boost leak and loss of power. From day one this is a problem and HSP Diesel knows that it can be a big one with no notice. This is why our Hot Side tube routes directly into the intercooler, this results in lower temperatures, better airflow, and the added clearance in those tight places. The Hot side intercooler tube is made from a 3 Inch mandrel-bent tube that can be powder coated to spice up the engine bay.

The Cold side pipe is also made of a 3 Inch diameter tube. We mandrel-bent the tube to give the maximum flow of air and decrease the turbulence that is often seen inside these pipes. The mandrel-bent 3 Inch cold side tube connects to the factory style bridge for the ultimate efficiency, flow, and maximum performance capabilities of your truck while retaining all the necessary parts.
